Heritage shoemakers Footjoy have been committed to quality footwear from their inception as Burt and Packard Shoe Company in 1857 and has evolved into one of the most beloved shoes in golf under Titleist. FootJoy has continuously innovated the world of golf footwear, and once again, it was time to introduce a new line of shoes. To launch the release of the latest FJ shoes Hyper-Flex while celebrating the innovative legacy of the brand, FootJoy partnered with Pusterla Box to develop a set of custom mailer boxes to send to numerous VIPs and influencers.
The custom mailer boxes feature a continuous 4-color printing with aqueous coating across the base and lid for an all-over effect when closed. A photo-realistic pattern of the enclosed golf shoe dominates the design. Included in the custom mailer boxes adoring the custom insert, are renderings of the shoes in the process of development, furthering the inventive, progressive intention of the Footjoy product through packaging. The mock-up drawing is included as a functional part of the packaging, the interior side of the lid of the box, making the diligent design the very first touch point of the packaging experience.
