Custom Retail Packaging for Hair Stylists
Every day, thousands of salon professionals combat dullness in their work. Each snip of the scissors brings blades a little closer to losing their edge, and dull shears make cutting hair more difficult and inefficient.
To rescue shears in danger of going dull, Razor Edge Systems developed Shear Saver, a sharpening tool made specifically for use in the salon industry. Pusterla Box devised two custom retail packaging solutions catered to the needs of the product. This tray with a 3-panel lid style custom box, give them a cutting edge against the competition.
The only decoration to speak of on this box is the foil stamped Shear Saver logo on either side of the lid. A more reserved decorative approach allows for some serious spectacle when it comes to revealing the product itself. With minimal decoration, the product is emphasized as the centerpiece of this custom retail packaging experience.
This box is wrapped in premium Corvon soft-touch paper from Neenah, which makes handling the box an absolute delight. Magnet closures are hidden beneath the paper ensure the lid remains closed. Finally, a custom foam insert perfectly fits the product, for protection as much as it is for presentation.
