To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Rockstar style sneaker, Adidas worked with Parallel Design to create an elevated seeding kit that honored the heritage story, and the Hip Hop group that made them iconic.

This exclusive influencer kit is constructed of a birch wood frame that is wrapped in Alpha Aston a leather-textured and coated paper that has been silkscreened to mimic the Adidas sneakers and includes both the Adidas and the Run DMC logos.  The compartments and trays are wrapped and lined in complementary gold from the Radiance Line from the Ecological Fibers.

The top compartment drawer is lined with black prestige which mimics velvet and holds a limited release vinyl album.  The Red translucent mylar window that has been silkscreened by Schofield printing reveals the album from the top when the drawer is closed.

The main drawer is also lined in gold Radiance and holds pair of limited edition Adidas Run DMC Superstars, a RUN DMC branded tracksuit and a luxury hanger.  To pull the drawer open, a silkscreened tab of double-thick looped Alpha Ashton was used to keep design consistency and durability.

Each drawer was carefully crafted for each element to create a premium look and experience for the recipients.

Behind this exquisite package was Matt Fried, Graphic Designer with Parallel, and John Romano, Senior Design Engineer with Taylor Box Company.

This is the ultimate tribute to this history-breaking hip-hop group RUN DMC and the iconic sneakers from Adidas.  We were honored to win our first Dieline Award for this one-of-a-kind project.    We took home the Gold award for the Entertainment category.  This was quite the honor and a long-time goal of our design and production team.  We are grateful to Parallel for entrusting us with this project.
