Art Directors Club (THE ADC)

Educational Event Packaging

Since 1920, the Art Directors Club (ADC) has advocated for artistic excellence in professional advertising, and everything they create, needs to match the level of excellence in every aspect.

ADC came to Pusterla Box to create event packaging for its annual awards ceremony to spread the word about ADC programs added in previous years, as well as the existing programs that are growing stronger. Custom brochures were placed within the box, outlining all the ADC events and programs.

The revolutionary organization unified layout artists, art buyers, and (of course) art department directors to improve conditions of those working in the field. The ADC began offering classes, lectures, and most famously, an annual awards ceremony. Today the ADC is the most renowned art director organization in the world, and its awards are a coveted honor.

The base and lid-style boxes are wrapped in 4-color offset printed paper with Aqueous Matte Coating and Spot Gloss.  A custom foam lining gives a protective barrier to the collateral, while a ribbon pull allows for easy opening. Event packaging such as this leaves an indelible impression on attendees, vastly improving the perceived value of printed materials and informational documents.
