When Richard Schmid, a renowned artist, author and recipient of the John Singer Sargent Medal for Lifetime Achievement award, wanted to release an expanded special edition of his popular book “Alla Prima – Everything I know about painting and more,” he partnered with Puritan Press.  Puritan Press then reached out to Pusterla to design a sophisticated package for the special release of the book that would match the superior level of quality of the contents within.

This elegant 3-sided hinged lid box was wrapped in a white high quality coated paper which was stamped with a white foil.  When the cover is lifted it reveals the limited edition hardcover book which is cradled within a framed platform and insert tray, which is easily removed with the satin ribbon lift.
