Custom Chipboard Boxes for Tools & Hardware

Hardware doesn't necessarily need a fancy box, but surprisingly you can create an elegantly branded box, that is simple, raw, and sturdy for just the right visual message and product protection.

To package a wide array of Starrett tools and accessories, we manufactured a line of custom chipboard boxes. To maximize production time and costs we combined several large volume orders and were able to produce the printed wrap and do the assembly in larger volume which decreased the manufacturing time and budget.

With a robust product line ranging from precision tools, measuring instruments, gages, and saw blades for industrial, professional, and consumer markets, L.S. Starrett Company has earned the title “World’s Greatest Toolmakers”.

These Base and Lid boxes come in a plethora of shapes and sizes. Starrett supplied their own branded cover material to wrap their chipboard boxes, though the cover material can only be found on the lids. The bases were left uncovered for a “skeleton base” effect, with the raw chipboard exposed.

Though these boxes are not especially intricate in design, the simple structure and minimal decoration make manufacturing a large number of boxes a far more economical choice than producing an elaborate specialty design at the same volume. We pride ourselves as makers of premium luxury packaging, but we can also manufacture commodity boxes such as these with the same craft and quality as the most extravagant projects.
